Student Clinical Shadowing Policy

Matriculated Noorda-COM students are not allowed to work with local community preceptors in any clinical capacity outside the specific affiliation agreements set for the third- and fourth-year curriculum. Students are not allowed to use their affiliation as a Noorda-COM student to obtain any shadowing opportunity. Noorda-COM’s liability insurance does not provide coverage for a student that is shadowing when not enrolled in an approved Noorda-COM course/clinical rotation for that site.
