At Noorda-COM (proposed), we are committed to creating a safe and secure environment for all members of the college community. The extent of our safety goes beyond our campus and includes our off-site clinical education experiences as well. In compliance with accreditation requirements and state laws, we’ve developed a campus safety plan and safety training curriculum. Both provide requirements for what the plan and training addresses, and campus-related reporting. For concerns or further information students, faculty, or staff can contact the Manager of Human Resources, Campus Security, or the Facilities Manager.
Noorda-COM (proposed) utilizes a card-access system for all buildings, these cards will also serve as student identification cards. For your safety and ours, we ask that these be promptly displayed somewhere on the front upper half of the body at all times. Our campus security operates 24/7 and can be reached at xxx-xxx-xxxx. For emergencies, please call 911 first, and campus security after. To further enhance security for our community, we have established the Safety and Security Committee. They can be reached at xxxxxxxxx. Emergency plans have been put in place to identify and inform the college community should there be a disaster.
Noorda-COM (proposed) alerts, mass email and text message distribution, and local media will always contact students, faculty, and staff when necessary.
