High Tech Campus
Noorda-COM is rethinking how medical education is taught by building a new, innovative, and unique curricular model that is ideal for the medical students of the 21st century.
At the heart of the curriculum are short, pre-recorded video segments covering defined learning objectives. Students work collaboratively in small groups of 3-8 people in on-campus learning “pods” to accomplish the required content. This curricular model is blended with high-tech laboratory and simulation experiences, which will pioneer medical education.
Given the challenges our nation and world are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this new model allows students to pursue their dreams of becoming a physician in a safe and forward-thinking campus environment that will quickly become the new standard for medical schools across the country.

Almost everywhere you turn there are mountains. Not only is it a beautiful place to be, it is a happy place to be. The people are kind and genuine, and the sense of community is strong. So whether you want to go out and enjoy an adventure or stay in your own backyard, Provo, Utah is a great place to be.
Accreditation Status
Noorda-COM has met/exceeded the standards set in place by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) and has been granted pre-accreditation status. At this time, we have been approved by COCA to begin admitting the inaugural class of medical students to begin in 2021.

Student Centric Curriculum
Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine’s (Noorda-COM) curriculum diverges significantly from traditional medical education. Noorda-COM’s blended curricular model pioneers the integration of technology and directed personal guidance, putting students at the center of the medical education experience like no medical school has before.
No scheduled classes and no large classroom lectures
The heart of our curriculum is faculty pre-recorded, short video segments (3 to 7 minutes) covering defined learning objectives. Students engage with core content in small groups (4-12 people) in on-campus learning pods collaboratively accomplishing required content. Groups are able to schedule their own learning times, leading to a great degree of flexibility for the student.
